Meet Mrs. Kelley

Once upon a time, I was a kindergarten teacher who fell in love with the magic of children's books - the way a good story can fill a classroom with laughter, curiosity, and connection. For 12 wonderful years, I had the joy and privilege of teaching kindergarteners how to read, write, wonder, and grow. I hold a master's degree in elementary education and have spent my career immersed in the world of early literacy and child development. ​

Now, as a mom to Ella and Vivian, I get to see that same magic at home - when we giggle with The Pigeon, dance with Pete the Cat, and wallow with The Pout Pout Fish. These small moments of shared reading are big moments in childhood - full of love, language, and learning.

I began to think about how wonderful it would be if other families had a place to experience that same joy - and a guide to help them bring early literacy to life at home in fun, meaningful ways. That dream became The Littlest Book Club: a warm, community-based program where stories play, and learning meet.
